About
The Trace Satellite Box applet is an open-source implementation of a target simulation in a URC environment. It can be used as a test target for the Universal Control Hub (UCH). It is also used as sample target in the Webclient tutorial on how to build HTML templates for the UCH.
The Satellite Box applet in a nutshell:
- Simulation of a satellite-box-TV combination as applet
- Display of still channel images as placeholder for video streaming
- UPnP enabled
The Satellite Box is targeted toward the following users:
- Target manufacturers: as a sample of how to make their product UPnP-enabled so that it can be controlled via the UCH
- UCH developers: as a sample target device for testing
- Developers and researchers: as a demo target device for the UCH and controllers
